why BEGI Autorotor for Z3 and not Miata

I was reading the BEGI website. It looks like both the Autorotor
and the turbo is the best thing since slice bread, for the Z3 and Miata,
respectively, but not the other way around.
I have seen that some Miata owners run Autorotor's. Why is it no longer
offered?

I think it was the lack of bypass and the cooking that killed it,
fortunately I operated my miata at WOT so the supercharger got plenty of
air. ;)
