If you read the article it appears that (except for the 4 turbos) they
are trying to build an American V8 to foreign car 4 cylinder engine specs.&nbsp;
I often wondered what would happen if you built a big V8 to the same standards
that are common on modern day 4's.

Would I be wrong in concluding from the relatively tiny pipes going to the
waste gates, that the plan is to run near full volume on these turbos? I
guess that since it's for a drag motor it will be either full chat or
nothing...and that properly sized the turbos won't need to bypass much
exhaust gas. I mean, relative to the size of those dump tubes coming from
the turbine outlet, they seem really small to me.

What a nice piece of work. Particularly the intake "manifold". Who needs
plenum chambers?
