filter (as in washing), the only OTHER source would be the turbo (it's

seal, allowing water to spray as a hot mist into the intercooler piping

As the pipes are cooler than the hot mist, the mist could be condensing
and pooling in the pipes.

One other thing the last time I by-passed all the coolant lines running
to the throttle body just to make sure that wasn't the source.
