Hi Jon,

I'm not 100% sure what he would take for it, but I believe he would like to
get around $17k-18k for it. It's still not completely finished, but darn
near close. When I left from visiting David about 5 weeks or so, it was
running but needed to be brought up to current FM improvements including an
intake temp sensor and new FM ECU code. There were a bunch of other small
things like completing the interior that were left. It went back into the
bodyshop for some final detailing a week after I left.

I think David has had this project for so long that he's at the point where
he just wants to finish it up and get rid of it. He has a couple other cars
and basically just needs to move this one out of the fleet. I think his
wife will be happy when the fleet is thinned a bit too. There's nothing
wrong with it except that it's still not finished yet... yet.

I gotta say, this car is pretty incredible (or it's going to be pretty
incredible). It really is one of those cars that could be a catalog demo
for FM and several other miata aftermarket companies. The 10AE paint on a
Racing Beat dressed up M1 body looks very cool. I couldn't help but to stop
quite often while working on this car to realize how cool the whole car was
coming together. It really does have "everything". Somebody is going to be
a happy new owner.

As far as mileage goes, it had 162k before the project started. So much has
been replaced with new or almost new, it's hard to say what mileage or age
this car has. The engine is brand new from Mazda. It probably has less
than 20 miles right now. Diff is a Torsen; not sure on the mileage or what
gear ratio (it's either a 4.10 or 4.30). Tranny is out of a '99 w/ a short
shifter from BSP. New OEM suspension bushings all around, FM springs,
Tokico Illuminas, FM BB kit, SS brake lines, SS clutch line, ACT clutch w/
FM lightened flywheel (1.8L version), FM alluminum radiator, FM3 turbo w/
ceramic coated manifold & downpipe, polished cam cover, polished intake
manifold extrude-honed, BSP Euro headlights, FM duals and high flow cat, 17"
MHT Quan wheels, HD Sport bar w/ double diagonal, Sparco race seats, MOMO
steering wheel, leather door panels and boots, new carpet in the cabin and
trunk, lots of new plastic trim pieces, integrated alarm system with power
locks and windows, nice stereo system w/ 6" separates up front and 6"
coaxials in the back, blue cloth top to match the interior.

That's basically it. Sweet car once it's done. David's email is:
(email redacted) Give him a shout if you have any other questions or are
interested in it. Hopefully a buyer near KY will be found so I can see it
again. :-)

Lee
