Yuck.. look at the 6th shot, headon frontal, looks like a mutant cross
between a Caddy CTS and a 350Z.. BLECH. Too much black, the bottom of the
front should have been body colored.

Other than that, I like it, but fugly from the front. :(

What are you talking about, it is one of the most attractive cars I have
seen in years.

The front is what sets it apart!

How would you do it/design it differently, Wally?

well....hmmmm....new styling trend?

IIRC it is called the 'FUSION'

Put a body colored horizontal divider (most people call this a "bumper",
heh) between the headlight assembly and the "mouth". It just looks like
the front cracked open where the headlights are and nobody cared.... weird
to me. Plus I can't say as I think the front of the CTS looks good,
either. Perhaps I am just closed minded and "old" or something, but it
looks wrong to me to have the weird slashed shaped headlight spots that go
all the way to the ground in the front.

Speaking of just plain wrong, is it just me, or does the new 4 door Daytona
look the front of a 300C and the back of an Intrepid all rammed together?
Terrible looking car, IMNSHO. Not aggressive, cool or retro at all.. the
Mustang guys finally got the right mix of that, too bad THEY didn't design
it. At least then it wouldn't look like some pathetic hybrid of a 4 door
grandpa sedan and a 4 door pimpwagon... yucko.

Metrosexuals perhaps? I certainly don't qualify for that category!

Wonder what the demographic is anymore, but the general perception is it's
a "cute chick car" I believe.

Not aggressive, cool or retro at all.. the
Mustang guys finally got the right mix of that, too bad THEY didn't design
it. At least then it wouldn't look like some pathetic hybrid of a 4 door
grandpa sedan and a 4 door pimpwagon... yucko.

What are you talking about, it is one of the most attractive cars I have
seen in years.

The front is what sets it apart!

How would you do it/design it differently, Wally?

Yuck.. look at the 6th shot, headon frontal, looks like a mutant cross
between a Caddy CTS and a 350Z.. BLECH. Too much black, the bottom of the
front should have been body colored.

Other than that, I like it, but fugly from the front. :(

I will hate myself for stating this....

Almost every Miata on the streets of Tucson is driven by a Caucasian female
who is well past the age of 45. Not exactly a chick car in Tucson.

To set the record straight, the chick car of choice in Tucson is a V-6
Mustang convertible, or, maybe a Honda Civic sans mods.

5th from the last shot shows it outside in real light. Is it perfect,
no,

Fusion has been out here for a couple of years, it's like a raised
Fiesta. My Missus's sister has one... it's high ground clearance saved
her from a nasty accident this time last year when she came round a
corner and couldn't stop in time to avoid the tractor tyre on the
road.
