I was planning on drilling small holes, threading in and pulling a
couple of #6 screws to pull the cam & crank shaft seals. Any other
suggestions?

Cam and crank pulley lock bolts have something on them. Should I be
re-installing with some kind of Loc-tite?

Thanks as always,
Jim

If you don't have a seal puller, a small screwdriver will work.
Be sure not to scratch the crank or cam seal surface.
Use a thread locker/Loc-tite on the bolts. Be sure to clean the threads of
old thread locker before installing.

For the cam seals, probably easier to loosen or remove the bolts on the
front cam caps, then you can pull them right out. Blue locktite on the
crank.

Jim

Take a long pointy screw driver, stick the sharp end into the cam seal and
pry: you need to stick it such a way to "leverage" the screwdriver over
the cam nose(your pivot point). They come out easy.

The crank seals are harder, but I suggest a sharp screwdriver driven
sideways and then pulling first. If not, #6 machine screw pushed by hand
should get it and then pull.

Good luck
Ivica
