A friend of mine passed away this afternoon. He had been battling sickle
cell anemia for the past 25 years and it finally got the best of him. While I
didn't know him that long, I considered him a good friend. He will be dearly
missed.

I will be away from work and the world for a few days while everything
gravitates towards normalcy. Thank you for your understanding.
