Yeah, it sure does... Ken put in a boost solenoid bypass switch, so I can
run 12 psi on the can when I want.. handy for rain and I'll probably use it
in the spring (for about 3 minutes, hehehehe). It's a good anti-mod
treatment tho.. start the spring at 12 psi and move to 15 soon after, free
HP ;)
Truthfully the Sub is getting faster now.. it's barely 40 today, and I
think the minivan behind me in traffic wasn't much impressed by my sideways
driving skills.. in second no less. :) The Toyo T1-S' are slightly worn,
and when cold grip poorly.. plus the car is making incredible power, it
feels MUCH faster now than it does in summer. If nothing else, it's a good
deterrent to ricers when I can kick the back out at 35 mph in second. :) I
REALLY need to put the car away before I get arrested. Dry Dock is
tomorrow, so no more fun for Wally till the snow flies and the Topaz can be
flogged properly. :(

Have you noticed that a turbo Miata gets faster after its long winter rest
?

Ya, but then you're driving a junker for 1/3 - 1/2 of the
year instead of a
sports car.

I agree, go buy a winter junker for under $700, keep it
4-5 months
depending on the weather and you will never rust out your
miata. Hell my
99 10AE looks showroom new, well besides for the mods!
Plus a cheap
junker you can care less if you slide off the road and hit
a tree or if
someone back into your car and say takes a mirror off!
(had that happen)
Then if you are smart, you sell it to a friend to recoup
your cost in it.
Rob, knows what I'm talking about. We should almost setup
a junker swap
program on here for all us snowward people!
