Just wondering what y'all have on your "I've been good, Santa please br=
ing
me" list.... Last year many of you shared great ideas and as a result t=
he
toolbox has much more cool stuff in it... last years favorites for me:
Standard one piston brake pad spreader..
amazon.com/Lisle-24400-Disc-Brake-Spreader/dp/B0002SQU9K
Love it, simple but handy, saves me squeezing the piston with a huge pa=
ir
of channel locks
4 piston pad spreader - great for the Wilwoods
amazon.com/OTC-7034-Disc-Brake-Spreader/dp/B0002SQUHW/ref=3D=
sr_1_4?ie=3DUTF8&s=3Dautomotive&qid=3D1229012869&sr=3D1-4
Love it more than the other one... makes it soooo easy. Sure, you can =
do
it with pliers, but this thing works better and doesn't muck up the pad=
s or
the pistons!
Mini ear LED light....
harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=3D9575=
2
Perfect for laying down with both hands in the bottom of an engine.
Also got some T-handle allens (metric and SAE), and wobble extensions, =
and
other cool stuff I forget. :)
Sooooo, whatcha asking for this year?? (I admit, I'm short of ideas an=
d am
hoping to steal some!)

I just use a big c-clamp on my brake pistons. It works great, pushing
the piston straight in instead of using channel locks. I have never
understood the need for a special tool.
One of my favorite items for the workshop is a retractable cord reel
hanging from the ceiling (with a worklight and outlet). I would not
trade it for the world! Also my retractable air line is great.

A low mileage (nice paint) 94M or 95 montego. Engine optional.
This is seriously the #1 item on my list. =)
