Hey y'all going to the Gap,
Anyone interested in hosting a "blowers and bars" session this year at the
Gap? My pal Will Brown who started the tradition will be absent this year,
but that doesn't mean we can't carry on.
The idea for those of you that have not been before:
Any that want to participate and show their cars get 5 (10 minutes max...we
have a lot of cars) to show a traveling parking lot band of Miataphiles
around under your hood and the rollbar in your cockpit (if you have a custom
bar or something new). The idea is just to give highlights of the equipment
you installed, ease of installation, improvements gained, and an overall
rating would you do the mod again/was it worth the time, money, effort to
install. The purpose is to get an idea of the mods available on the market
for the newbies, provide introductions to those who have the mods you're
thinking of installing so you know who you want to sit with at dinner and yak
with later, and basically just get to see a lot of neat stuff all in a couple
of hours that you might not get to see all at once at a local club event.
So whatcha say? Anyone interested in doing this again this year? If there
is enough interest and no one that wants to play moderator and time keeper
I'll volunteer as I'll not be showing off my car's underthings in the parking
lot...and I do wanna see y'alls. :P~
Any interest? If so is Saturday a good day? What time? 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM
in the Tapoco parking lot?

Team - working on driver skill before adding go fast mods...but man do we
like those go fast mods
Team - still looking for the track car!!!!!!

Sure! Sounds like fun to me. I'll show off my FM3, Rollbar, etc... and I'm certainly anxious to see other stuff as well. I'm staying at Tapoco and should be around most of the day... anytime is fine for me! A friend's highly modified Sebring system might be there too (if the new engine is installed and working well by then). Quite an impressive setup.
