Actually it was a rusty old '76 1.6l OHC 2-valve Mitsu. In its day it
had a revolutionary pentroof combustion chamber. It had enough low-end
torque to pull the car uphill at 1000 rpm, and enough top-end from DIY
headwork and blueprinting to once beat some rich old fart in a big
Mercedes even though my beat-up car was so obviously full of poor
college students.
