I adjusted the IAC, turns out it was screwed most
of the way in (wonder why idle was pretty good before).
So I have the car idling at 1000 rpm or thereabouts to be
safe. It actually idles fairly well now. It also drives
pretty well too... I only adjusted the TPS span. There's
a bit of hesitation on quick throttle openings, and it
might stutter a bit when climbing a grade. But otherwise,
it is perfectly drivable for now. - Beau
BTW, I got a message today from someone named Bill
Cardell, but it wasn't the Bill you guys know ;-) When
you're in the habit of deleting messages from a certain
individual they might take devious means to get your
attention...

If your fuel pump is now running with a jumper to ground at the diagnostics connector
your circuit opening relay is the next suspect. Also, the normal operation of the
fuel pump /circuit opening relay is dependant on the fuel pump permissive switch in
the airflow meter - which is now grounded with your new FMECU / MAP sensor- correct?
Sounds like a circuit opening relay problem.
