Hi gang,

This is my first post although I've been lurking in the archives for quite ahwile...

I've got a '94 N/A CSP autocross car, running a Link with the 3/25/03 chip. How does the Link handle base barometric pressure differences when N/A? I understand it reads MAP at start up, does it use this value to adjust fueling later?

My car's been autotuned near sea-level, but I'm heading up to an autocross at over 5000' this weekend. Should I auto-tune the WOT row on the highway after we get there? Or will it handle that by itself?

Thanks,

Jim Daniels

The atmospheric pressure is only used for boost control. Since you don't
have to worry about exhaust backpressure increasing as altitude increases (a
turbo car does) and you don't have a MAF sensor that requires pressure
correction, the required fuel changes should be minimal ... perhaps even
negligible. But you're plowing new ground here and I for one would like to
know what you actually find.
