I'm having this same problem on my 94 (w/autorotor). Mostly bucks
(heaviest) around zones 135 thru 145 & 235 thru 245. TPS adjusted properly
(per shop manual). A/F gauge does not indicate unusually lean or rich .
It seems more violent coming off boost.
I found that if I reload "turbo 2" it nearly goes away. Oddly, when I redo
my coarse tuning it seems fine until I refire the car (saved before shut
down), then the bucking comes back.
When it is at it's worst it seems like an intermittent ignition failure
that disappears instantly in row 3 or higher.

Have you checked your logs to be sure you're not going lean at that point?
If it's not lean you may want to reduce your IAC to 25% and open your idle
screw accordingly.

Bill,
Tach appears to indicate reality, does not "drop out" like an ignition
failure.
it gets worse, I reload turbo 2 , (add 8 points to master fuel which
temporarily improves A/F ratios until I decide to start over). I haven't
touched ignition zones.
It's been a busy 2-race weekend, so I haven't had too much time to mess
with it aside from starting from scratch and retuning it Saturday. We got
95% of the zones in the first 3 rows, car seemed fine ..... saved .....
shut down .... started up ..... and the bucking came back.

Bill,
Tach appears to indicate reality, does not "drop out" like an ignition
failure.
it gets worse, I reload turbo 2 , (add 8 points to master fuel which
temporarily improves A/F ratios until I decide to start over). I haven't
touched ignition zones.
It's been a busy 2-race weekend, so I haven't had too much time to mess
with it aside from starting from scratch and retuning it Saturday. We got
95% of the zones in the first 3 rows, car seemed fine ..... saved .....
shut down .... started up ..... and the bucking came back.

I'm having the same problem. FMII kit, latest chip. FM2 reload, car runs
fine. Do some coarse tuning, and it starts to happen again. Only below
3000 RPM. Didn't do it with older (pre temp comp) chip.
