Shiv,

I love the idea of rotors that weigh one third as much but want to run 14
or 15 inch wheels (both on the street and at the track). Any idea if there
are plans to make these in a smaller size at some point?

I spoke with the Canadian distributor of "Cool Rotors" MMC
rotors specifically about a Miata application, he asked the
weight of the car and size of the stock rotors, I told him
2200lbs (a bit light) and 10.5" (a bit large?), he did some
calculations and came up with 300mm (shade under 12")
as the recommended size of MMC rotor for this application,
with concerns of melting, etc. for smaller rotors.

Again, the website is:

fastauto.com

Personally, if I were going to drop $1500+ into an experimental
brake system, I'd want something a bit on the large side, would
be a shame to have $900 worth of rotors crack, shatter or melt.
