Anyone have a .dyn file for Desktop Dyno or Dyno 2000 that represents the
BP6 in the Miata? I'm looking for a baseline to work from and the closest I
can seem to get is 95 HP-6000 RPM and 95 Ft-lbs at 4200 RPM. Not exactly the
right match but pretty close. It matches most of the RWHP numbers but I
thought Desktop Dyno measured FWHP.
Anyone come closer for a baseline?
Here's what I have plugged in so far:
Bore: 77.98mm (auto calculated)
Stroke: 83.57mm (auto calculated)
4 valve head w/ stock ports
Intake valve 29.32mm
Exh valve 24.49mm
CR 9.50:1
300 CFM / 1.5 inHG
Manifold - Sequential Fire Inj
Stock exhaust
Cam "High Performance Street"
Hydraulic lifters
Intake 6.74mm lift, 278 deg duration (seat to seat)
Exh 6.41 lift 278 deg duration (seat to seat)
Overlap 134 degrees (if I did the math right...)
Any input?
Thanks!
Brad

But then how do I measure a difference when I really *do* add solid lifters?
