The Link now boots. Looks like a bad crimp connection under the main
fuse box. I put on a new one on one of the wires that was loose, and
it still didn't turn on, but while I was checking with the volt meter,
it suddenly turned on, much to my amazement.

I'm going to remove the three crimp connectors under the fuse box and
solder those three wires together since I don't want to have it shake
itself loose at an inopportune moment. It looks like the crimp
connectors corroded while waiting the year plus for me to get around to
installing the SPAL... That might be part of the problem as well.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
Mark
