Well, the Link install moving along. I have taken a
break from the OBDII wire swap festivities and started
playing under the hood. I thought this might lessen
the chance of me going completely nuts (or at least
postpone it).

My newest question: Which way does the plug go into
the MAP sensor? The directions say "the locking tab
on the factory harness goes toward the engine." WTF
kind of explanation is that??? Anyone got a pic, or
care to describe the way the book assumes I have the
MAP mounted?

Thanks!
Chris

The locking tab goes on the top side of the map sensor box ... i.e. the side
with the label and no screws.

Well, it sort of made sense. I believe we used to have a picture there. The
directions state to mount the map sensor to the plastic cover on the
driver's fender, then install the connector toward the engine. I've made
changes to show "toward the label", should be clearer. Sorry for the
confusion!

Bill,

The Link ECU instructions are very well written with
excellent illustrations. That's great that you
continually improve it. Keep up the great work!
