Link Installation questions - some probs solved!

Put in the FM ecu... good volts on the temp sensor, and the injectors shut
down properly! Car started, and tuned (at idle) easily. So far so good.
Went to check the knock sensor... tapped it with a screwdriver handle, but
no go. What kind of steps can be taken to troubleshoot this? What exactly
does the ecu "see" in a knock event? I'd like to simulate that and see if
the wiring is ok, or if it is the sensor.

I haven't tried with a stock ECU, but the odds are good that it would be
the same with a 1.8 ECU and not with a 1.6.

log in MLL.
