Guys,
I recieved a few questions from the m2miatalist regarding Koni's and did
some checking, the results may also be of interest to people on these lists:

M2:
For the '98 and '99 with the Mazda(Shoa-brand) shocks, the adjustable Koni's
are available.
For the '98 and '99 Bilstein replacement, I have written quite extensive
reports a few months ago, when my 10th AE was try-out car for the Koni
factory.

Seeing your questions, I have just been in contact with the Koni factory
product development guy, and he told me the Koni- Bilstein replacement kit
will probably go into production in March 2000, new spring perches will be
supplied with the shocks as a kit.

M1:
For whoever is interested: he also told me Koni has also developed a "ride
hight adjustable" (shocks+springs) kit for the M1 with which shocks are
adjustable on the car and ride hight is also adjustable on the car. With
this kit the car can be adjusted from just above standard hight to max. 1
3/4 inch lowered, it will probably also go into production in March 2000.
