I am looking to purchase a Metal Head Gasket been looking for Copper one. Maining looking for a thicker head gasket. The idea is to lower the compression ratio and to hold the boost level @20 psi+.

A friend of mine found this place:
headgasket.com/
Quotes from the webpage:
So, I suspect if you did a one-off, it would run you $75 for the pattern, then
maybe $75 to $100 for the gasket itself.
I'm thinking of having something done for my Prelude project. :)

"One-off" capability is available. Email us or call for details. Generally, if
the engine is a four cylinder/push rod costs range from about $75.00 per
gasket. For six cylinder $90.00 per gasket. These prices are for thickness
range from .022, .032, .043 and .054". Overhead cam engines are slightly more
expensive depending upon configuration. Custom/CAD setup fee is about
$75.00/pattern. This is a one time 'non-recurring' fee.
TURN AROUND TIME:
Typically, less than seven business days. If a dead-line or racing event is
imminent special priority is given.
STANDARD MATERIAL
THICKNESS .022,.032,.040,.043,.048, .054,.063,.070, .086, .093, and .125 inches.
Typical Applications.
•Racing
•Restoration Projects
•To compensate for thin "overmilled" heads.
•To decrease compression ratio.
"•One-Off" capability
•TURBOCHARGING
•Prototype

You could always pay the fee, get your head gasket and then offer gaskets
for sale too since you would own the "pattern".

Man, I'd stay away from copper headgaskets. They may seal boost, but it's a
miracle for them to seal fluids, at least in my experience. That's why we
went layered steel, just like Mazda.

Man, I'd stay away from copper headgaskets. They may seal boost, but it's a
miracle for them to seal fluids, at least in my experience. That's why we
went layered steel, just like Mazda.

Try Toda...they have a thicker gasket.

Back when I had the steel ones made, I actually had to send the producers a
block and head.

You could always pay the fee, get your head gasket and then offer gaskets
for sale too since you would own the "pattern".

How about multiple head gaskets? Like say a copper between two steel? Or
three steel for that matter?
At one time, IIRC, Bill C. had a source for securing head gaskets in various
thicknesses.
I've suggested several times on this list the idea of using a thicker head
gasket to lower compression and all I ever get is flack about ruining the
quench. AIKI, several of the turbo tuners of other small motors actually use a metal
spacer with two head gaskets specifically to lower compression rather than do
a full engine rebuild with new l/c pistons.
Have/are you O-ring the head to cylinders?
Jim in Tucson
I am looking to purchase a Metal Head Gasket been looking for Copper one.
Maining looking for a thicker head gasket. The idea is to lower the compression
ratio and to hold the boost level @20 psi+.
