I've been spending most of my life (it seems) over the past 2 months
building my garage. Your comment about duct tape is really funny as
half the walls currently look like their are coated in duct tape. I
am building the garage out of the Insulated Concrete Forms. Given I
can do it myself, its actually cheaper then getting someone in to
build the concrete (frost) walls the traditional method. (that wood
they use is not cheap). Plus these things have an R22+ rating and will
keep the garage really quiet.
Anyways this actually does lead to a question.. I was at Rona talking
to one of the people in the comercial department and he said he built
a garage for his mom 20+ years ago, and he painted the floor with this
paint material used in the oil industry. But in 20 years he has yet
to need to repaint it and it looks as good as it did originally. Even
though studded tired have been driven on it and items have been
dragged over it. Now I'm curious what he used, as that stuff sounds
fantastic!
So for those who might be interested, the walls get poured today, next
week I get the floor prepped and poured. The week after I will get
the metal structure done (its a flat decked roof) and some time in the
middle of winter I'll have a deck implemented on top ;-) party time
you say? Come on over! Its going to be a 63 m^2 deck.
Cheers,
Quentin

Yes - carefully cut out the space to fit your leg, apply duct=20
tape - the universal repair medium.

It was me actually.=20
In the jetta my right leg is cramped against the center=20
console.=A0 The beetle actually has 'flatter' surfaced seats and more
leg=20
room...it is my inspiration right now.
I have looking for new beetle seats on ebay for a good price=20
and such, as i've almost decided to keep the car based on the calls
i've=20
gotten.
I have removed the center console once, and the space was=20
great.=20
So pretty much I need to mod my console.=20
Can a fiberglass shop do such a thing?=A0 Is this somethign=20
I can do myself?=A0 Pretty much would be a cutout of the small yet
annoying=20
area that bothers my right leg.
Any suggestions? Thanks,=20
