Aaron,

Unless you are buying the whole kit, don't expect a
vendor to give up any info or time. After all, they
have paying customers to support. I would do the same
in their position. The fact that Corky and Bill and
Ray are here on the list at all, offering up the kind
info they do, is very generous IMO.

That being said...

I too am the kind of person who derives a great deal
of enjoyment and satisfaction from designing and
building things for myself when possible. Not to
take away from vendors, but for self enhancement.

Anyway...

I have researched a few different turbo options for my
own Miata turbo project. I would be glad to share my
findings with you. I did my own research which consisted
mostly of, setting a max HP goal and selecting a turbo
which is rated *slightly* higher than my goal.

There are many turbo options to choose from! Ranging
from the cheaper option of yanking a used T3 turbo from
a Ford 2.3L, to the more exotic option of purchasing a
custom made Turbonetics ceramic BB turbo. It all depends
on your goals.

Oh, BTW, I have no idea what the FM specs are. But does
it really matter? That is just one approach of the many
which are possible. How about twin turbos? <jk> ;-)

Regards,
-Mike
