Botton line I bent over backwards for this guy and he is stiffing me for the
shipping and COD charges $20.00 plus. He says he is buying elsewhere if this
is true the new seller should beware!!!
He is blacked list in my circle and should be in yours. Spead the word
before
he rip someone else off and more importantly waste their time.

Excuse me, but am I to understand that you shipped a $550 turbo kit FIRST...
and THEN, he was going to mail you a money order? !!!
Wow, send me your miata....I'll mail you a check later. Seriously, I'd say
you pushed the "honor system" a little far on that one. Good luck.

Somebody's gotta go first, unless you want to set up an escrow account, or
ship cod. Even with cod you can get stiffed for the shipping. Things work
easier with trust, that's why he was calling the offender out.

I've been doing a lot of buying online lately, but $550? Not on your
life.. Paypal, Money order or bank transfer, or it's no deal.. Trust is one
thing, but that's nuts!
A money order is $1.00 plus a stamp and a week.. it's not that bad to wait,
and there's no way to get screwed.. no $$$, no loss.
All IMHO, of course.. YMMV.

On the flip side of that, what insurance do I have that you are actually
going to send me something after my check clears the bank?
I got royally screwed on eBay because of something like this. I used
whatever the eBay version of PayPal was at the request of the buyer. Took
$350 for an NOS Progressive Nitrous Controller and sent it to him in Canada.
Turns out that the credit card was reported as stolen and I had to forfeit
the money to eBay. Their excuse "Card signature not verified by the seller."
WTF?
I sent them all the appropriate information from UPS including the shipping
name and address, the credit card name, and the name of the person who
signed when it was delivered. They all matched. Even worse was that I looked
up the fella's address on the internet and it matched the location where I
shipped it to. I actually *did* send it to the right person on the card but
they played a loophole on me. I tried going through the USPS for mail fraud
but the invlaidated it for two reasons - 1. I didn't ship with USPS and 2.
It was international. I tried explaining my case to eBay but they wouldn't
even give me a phone number to call, only communication was through email.
I still have his address on record, I might just have to find a cheap flight
for me and Vinnie to go meet the guy. Oh wait, I'm a trained killer in the
US Army, I don't need to bring Vinnie along! I'll finally have a real world
application of my infantry skills! I could even screw with his mind first
and apply some good old fashioned PsyOp on him, then I'd get to use *two*
Army skills!

On this list, most of the people I would trust easy with up to about $1000
or so. I have been friends with many people on this list for far too long
not to trust them.

It was sent COD and Money order is only accepted. www.UPS.com if you do not=
know what COD is.
The problem is that if the buyer refuses the package you are stuck paying f=
or the shipping.
I try and NEVER do COD because of this kind of behavior.
