I race E-Mod.=20

I think, according to SCCA formulation, the 1.6=20
displacement, combined with forced induction (multiply
displacement by 1.5 for FI), makes the engine too big=20
for D-Mod.

D-Mod in Miami is actually filled with tricked out old Datsuns,
RX-7s and the like, and I regularly beat them with my NA Miata....

E-Mod has an NSX (w/ slicks), plus whatever weird stuff shows=20
up, like me. At the Bay Bottom Crawl, a Porsche 911, race
prepped to be competitive at Sebring circa 1980 runs along
with a ground up build Capri (plexiglass windows, slicks, 351
race motor, you get the picture...) and me, and I lose.

If you're in Auto-X to win big on a budget, get yourself a sponsored
Neon. If you're there to take FTDs, buy a shifter cart. If you're there
to have a good time, run what 'ya brung and have some fun.

I personally think that most Auto-X trophies are tacky looking anyway.

I was thinking E-Mod too. Here in the SE that's where they put turbo miatas.
Also there was a Supercharged Miata at the Nationals and he was in E-Mod. figure
the Nationals should have the classes correct.
