Does anybody on this list do surface-mount printed circuit board
layout? I'm ready to commit the air temp sensor circuitry to hardware
and we could save some cost by doing it on-list. It's a very small and
simple circuit but the board outline is not rectangular.

Hi Ray! A quick question on ignition maps. The stock ignition map for
the 1.6l is set around a base advance setting of 10 deg. set w/ Adv.
Limits=0 Correct? Therefore if I adjust the base advance to 6 deg. then
I need to add 16 (4x4=16) to each of the ignition zones. Correct?
Thanks.

Ray, are the advance numbers in the zone maps the total advance for each
zone (ie max zone value of 160 gives an advance limit of 40) I thought
some people have said that you add the base (ie. 10) and the zone value
together. If that were the case max advance would add up to be 60 (160/4
+ 10=60) but adv. limit default is 40 ?? Sorry to be obtuse but trying
to puzzle it through. Thanks,

The limit applies only to the advance that is added by the ECU (the zone
values) since the ECU has no way of determining what the mechanical
advance is set to.
