Stock cat (at least on '91 and '92) inlet/outlet diameter is 2". A hi-flow
cat such as the one on Jim Womer's car is 2 1/4" I/O. I custom-ordered a 2
1/2" I/O cat. Why have a 2 1/2" exhaust and then stick a 2 1/4" cat right
smack dab in the middle of the exhaust? Sort of a
slap-yourself-in-the-forehead kind of situation....
