<DIV>Hello,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am in the process of bringing my Miata back to life from the fire 6 weeks ago. As this time I am also dropping in a different motor, flywheel, clutch and tranny. My motor 1990 does not have the crank pulley and I am take the one from my old, abused motor. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I ran 12.5 psi on the old motor, the motor was noisey and dead, but it pulled strong and never quit. I am using a Mk1 link and will eventually stay around 13.5-14 psi at my high boost setting on my TurboXS boost controller and will stick at 9.5-10 on my low boost setting.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I am using the enthusiasts manual and I know some items are wrong in it.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Here is my list of questions..</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>1) Torque specs for pulley bolts (4 10mm bolts I think)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>2) Torque specs for Flywheel Bolts.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>3) I have removed my Power Steering and will be using the rack. Should I drain it, or level the fluid inside and just run a line between the 2 pipes?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>4) Is there anything else you would reommend I know or do??</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>.... Here is a list of some other things I have already done or currently doing before the car gets appraised and insured again.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Port Matched my Intake Manifold and Head</DIV>
<DIV>Fixed the leak in my tube turbo manifold. </DIV>
<DIV>Purchased 4 RX7 NA injectors and had them cleaned and tested. Resistor pack from FM for injectors. </DIV>
<DIV>Custom 4 puck organic clutch. (Had copper before and it was too harsh, I will give this a try) </DIV>
<DIV>Machined flywheel. </DIV>
<DIV>Installing new B&G Springs, Toikco Shocks </DIV>
<DIV>Linelock for brakes and Baer 12.5" Brake kit. </DIV>
<DIV>Purchased 3rd Gen RX7 Spolier (Looks sweet on car), </DIV>
<DIV>Using RX7 NA Charcoal canistor instead of Miata one (Original Burnt, Rx7 one was free), </DIV>
<DIV>Punching Cat and putting 2.5" pipe through it so Police can still see a CAT. I passed my SMOG test and I am now good till July 2003.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I think that is about it for now.... Anything else you would recommend (Apart from a Torsen, which I am still trying to locate in Ontario, Canada or New York State, USA)</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thanks, Marc</DIV>
