Idea behind LoJack is that if my "masterpiece" gets stolen, I might stand a
chance of recovery before they total or strip it.

Remington/Glock/K-9 just get you (and your immediate neighborhood) a
reputation
as a bunch of badasses not to be messed with - preventing theft, vandalisim,
etc. before it happens.

Even in Miami, collision insurance doesn't pay, they charge enough to cover a
full payout every 10 years - I don't plan on getting totalled more than once
every 10 years. In 16 years of driving I've accumulated about $7K worth of
collision repair bills - compare that to 16 years worth of collision coverage
on all your vehicles.....
