Well, the Flyin' Yellow Miata finally ate it's diff. so I am looking for a
torsen package to drop in quick (in a rent car for now).

Any thoughts on where there might be on would be appreciated. I
called Mazmart and they are really proud of theirs.

I also checked here in Houston with no luck.

Does anyone have a number for Marshall's?

I'd put in any old diff while waiting to find a good Torsen.... a 1.6 open
diff
should be readily available, easy to swap in, and dirt cheap.

Finding a Torsen takes lots of time, lots of money or lots of luck.

from them for the measly cost of $650 around 2 years ago. I think they're
close to twice that now. I'd search the internet used part "virtual
boneyards". They usually have a network of parts suppliers that can contact
each other and find you one. I've gotta stop by the and check to see if my
rods are in this week. I'll see if my shop can find one through their used
parts guys.

Check out maztoy.partslocator.com/ They are here in Portland, OR and
are really great, plus I know they got a 96 M in a few weeks ago (don't know
if it's got a Torsen) but if they don't have anything, they'll check around
for you.
