Mail From: DEvander (Dan Evander)
Just wanted to thank Keith Tanner (Total Man!) and his entire Flyin Miata
crew for the great work they did at the Viva Vegas track day. My only
disappointment was an apparent lack of vendors at the event (no fault of FM)
and the fact that a certain book has YET to be printed for distribution.
LOL
This was the first time out on the course for me in my new track car, and I
can say she handled the chores wonderfully! I pulled a 2:25.77 out of my
(choose a location here) when following a very fast turbo car. Still, for
NA, she did wonderful, and now the only real thing I need is more power.
The driver level was not as high as I was expecting, but all in all, there
were no wrecks and a great time was had by all.
Thanks again guys!
Got any good stories to share? I wish I had a some good ones, but in
reality my weekend was pretty normal. I drove, but not my hardest. I
gambled and lost, but not the worst loss ever. I pulled a queen, king, and
ace of spades on the poker run, but was unable to complete the hand. I
drank, but didn't get drunk. I even went to a comedy show and cried.
It was almost the most mediocre weekend a person can have in Vegas at a
Mazda event! LOL
One gripe, who the #$%# designed the speed bumps at the MGM grand? I
bottomed out on EVERY SINGLE LAST ONE. Grrrrrrr....
