Has anyone had the problem of the soft top rattling when the top is
down? I never had this problem with either of my M1's, but my M2
developed this rattle after about 40,000 km (about 25,000 miles). It
doesn't rattle as much in the summer with the boot cover keeping it
tight, but it still does over large bumps. In the winter, it rattles
over every bump. The Mazda dealer says that this is normal wear in the
fittings and there is nothing that can be done about it. Any ideas?
Richard and Saph 10 AE (2 and 1/2 months to go and the hard top comes
off)

With or without the hard top or the boot? The hard top's clips stop my soft
top from rattling and in the summer, the boot's tight enough to stop any
rattling.
