My driver side seat side bolster is now worn through. Tan leather seat cover. Local specialists say they can't match and recover and I've had no luck finding a match on the internet thus far. I am nearing a point with this 95 Midata where moving toward an SM2 autocross configuration may be in the cards in the next two years. If I were to replace the seat with an aftermarket, non leather, good "racing seat" I"d like one that dropped me just a touch lower in the car anyway. Any experience out there to start me looking at a particular brand???

Hey Dr. Al! Not doing the 7 thing in autocross these days? I picked up an old-school Caterham for local autocrossing and will save the Miata for days when the weather is not all that Sevenish.
My Miata leather seats are not exactly perfect either. The right one has a tear. Probably not going to do a lot about that.
