I replaced the plastic with Marine Vinyl purchased from TAP plastics. Also bought their suggested Marine glue. costs $22 + 6.

Found a large 4" tall box to lay everything on the parcel shelf. Cut out the old and glued in the new...
Traced the size of the window on paper and cut the vinyl about 1-1.5 inch larger than the opening. Laid on some bricks to make sure the seams were flat.

Hey, I was intitially apprehensive..... but it zipped just fine.
