Sorry for the NPC post power guru's, but I wanted to cross post this to both
lists as some may have experience to draw upon.
After my three week hiatus in the desolation that the US Army calls Ft
Hunter-Liggett in central California I returned home to a moldy Miata.
Mildew has covered almost the entirety of the interior of the soft top and
the carpet in the drivers and passenger footwells is hairier than a Mafia
hitman's back (including *under* the floor mats). Fortunately the seats are
clean of foreign growth and the interior is odorless though possibly still
toxic.
Any suggestions/ recommendations on cleaning this up?
Thanks a million!

Brad, mildew is very easily cleaned with chlorine bleach. I'd start with a
much-diluted solution and see if that doesn't do the trick. Unless you have
a cloth top, there's probably not much chance that it will change the color
of anything, except by cleaning it.
