Noticed the other day, after the headlight discussion, that my hood seems to be "sprung" on one side--will not close tight, about an inch gap up near the hinge at the windshield.
Quick fix possible? Rubber mallett? Exorcisism??

My guess is you have a hinge that is binding and you might have bent it. trying lubing the pivots on the hinge but my guess is you might need a new hinge. One of my cars has a hinge that is binding, I found this before I bent it.
