Hey everyone,
Test drove my first 2001 1.8 MX-5 Collection (metallic green with nardi
steering wheel). I current have a 93 and had a 91 as a daily driver in the
States for 3 years or so. The 1.8 handled horribly, only 24,000 km on it.
My current ride is lowered and all but this newer one had awful handling.
Just sort of twitchy and maybe a bit oversteery. I enjoyed the power and
the 6 speed gear box but have reservations. It was riding on Michelin
Pilots that are fairly wide and flat, so maybe that was it. Do any
1.8owners have comments on handling differences?
Thanks much.
Brett.

1993 white (black racing stripes and a kick a** momo wheel).

Stock worn shocks at stock ride height, which is higher than your current car was stock.

Tire pressures???
