Anyone know what the best way to remove graphics from the side of the car?
I need to replace 5 year old numbers on the side of the white car and I'm
not sure how to go about removing the old number circle.
Heat???

If they are viynal (spelling), I had to gently use a heat gun, finger nails,
pocket knife and just had to stay after it. Once you have them off, some
Opps to remove the glue or whatever is on it. It was a slow process.

Mail From: chad (Chad J. Douglas)
I recommend a hair dryer instead of a heat gun, since a hair dryer won't get hot enough to damage the paint, but will get hot enough to loosen the adhesive. If you're deft with the use of a heat gun, it'd be more effective, but watch how hot your paint gets...

Just don't go to the car wash, see it start pealing and smile that this
is going to be real easy. ...Promptly 'spray' the decal off, only to
find that that door has been repainted and you just sprayed the decal
and paint off in one fell swoop, ending up standing there with a silly
expression on your face as your decal is face down in the dirt and there
is a grey primer patch on your door the shape of the decal. ...Not
speaking from experience, of course. <grin>
