If anyone's interested, I have some install notes and pictures of
the Fumoto engine oil drain valve here...
freepages.autos.rootsweb.com/~jaimev/miata/fumoto_drain_valve/
It replaces the OEM drain plug and has a ball valve design, which allows
quick draining of the oil with a turn of the lever, without any tools.
For my car, it wasn't a plug-and-play install: some filing had to be
done to the valve to make it fit.

On the miata.net forum we determined that it doesn't require any filing
if you order the ADP106 adapter along with the F106 valve unit. Also,
for a 10% discount, type in 'miata' under discount code.
I'll be receiving mine in a couple days...a report will follow.

Thanks for the reminder! I posted a report on the forum, but forgot to
here...
The valve works great! There's been no proof of leakage, and with the
'F' extension piece it is not the lowest point on the car.
I found on the forum that it is advisable to use the F extension piece
(additional $6) because without it some Dremel work is required. This
can be found on the fumoto site under other mazda cars and trucks.
Email me with any questions!
