OMG! I've got this mental picture of a herd of "elephants" and a
tribe of "aztecs" converging
from different directions on the "Fugitive Bridge" below the damn.
Sorry, the devil made me do it...... Time for my nap......

A few years ago the Fiat Owners group had their national get together at the
Gap the same weekend the Miatas were there.
We figured there were a few givens.
We could find where they were by following the oil trails
There were tow truck operators standing by to make a killing.
That more than half of them went home on flatbeds.
BTW, I don't actually remember ever passing any on the road for the whole
weekend!! :)
I guess the good thing is the Honda people would probably get to enjoy the
drive, the problem is would those boxes tip over running through the Gap???

I remember that weekend. I got behind three motor homes towing Fiats
on trailers on the
Foothills Parkway on my way to the Gap. You think they would pull
over at one of the overlooks
and let me by, hell no! And I also don't recall seeing any of them
cruising the Dragon or the Skyway
that weekend. I think we overwhelmed them.....
