One note about 5 mph bumper damage - the US no longer requires 5 mph
bumpers. It's 2.5. Canada DOES still require the heavier bumpers. It's one
of the (invisible) differences between Canadian and US spec Miatas. It's
also the reason that the previous Subaru Impreza RS in Canada never got the
pseudo-WRX nose.
