Hey guys,

I am new to this form. Now, I am looking to make my 1991 miata into a professional track car. I don't car if it becomes not street legal as I already have a everyday driver. What I would like to accomplish is 350 Hp, 800 kg overall weight. I want this car to hand better than it does out of the factory and or better.I have seen 1jz's,rb26dett, sr20's all for a good price but none of them create the power that I would like and would need modification. So which would be the best choice.

I was looking at engine swapping a v6 tt. 6 speed manual. Under tray. suspension upgrades. complete brake kits. etc.

If possible I would like to also have a dual clutch tranny or sequential or both.

Money, time and skill is no limitation to me.

If there are forums out there that contain this exact question as I have posted it, don't bash me I am only one person looking one the whole internet for this information.

Thank you for your time in helping me

Hello , I think the swap you are looking for is a Honda, Acura J V6 engine. I just posted what i am doing with this conversion. If you need more information call or text me at (607)742-4274 Thank You, Gary

You could get that kind of horse power from a Flyin Miata V8 conversion.
They use LS 3 crate motors, 6 speed transmission, rear end from a cadillac along with strengthend axels.
They also do suspension and brake upgrades. I think the starting price for a conversion is about $50,000. They convert A,B,C & D models.
Check them out at
Another option is a V6 out of a camaro. I have been reading about a conversion that is being done by one of the guys from Goodwin racing.
Good luck!
