I'm also looking for an answer to this problem for my 2011 NC. How do you get into the area to replace the horn?

Not sure how applicable this is but I recently saw something somewhere about how you could remove the fender liner on the drivers side to get to the horn. Along with that nugget was the advice to add a relay to the circuit to take the load off the wiring loom. FWIIW.

I replaced both the "Vespa-like" horns with Hella Supertone horns. I removed the right side wheel wheel fender liner as one is hiddent ther. The other is just to its left behind the grill. NO need to remove the grill. I did have to make short grounding wires. No need to ad relays either --- unless you are a NY cabbie who drives with the horn on all the time. Short burst or even wedding parties won't over heat the wiring. I feel it makes the car much safer as now larger cars will hear you should you blow the horn.
