Hi all, I have a NC with about 46K miles. In the last month or so, it started making a soft clink noise from the right rear. It sounds exactly like two glass soda bottles rolling into each other in the trunk. And before you ask, yes, i have removed everything, including panels, tool roll, jack from the trunk, and there is nothing under the seat or in the top compartment. I usually hear it when there is a small weight transfer when cornering or a small bump like a driveway. I cannot seem to get it to happen on demand, through exaggerated motion, braking, etc. I have been under the car and everything seems tight. Pushing on the rear by hand or shaking the car side to side doesn't do it either. I suspect a shock (stock Bilstein) may be failing? The rear right one is slightly wet but still damps well.
